What is Book The Bed?
Book The Bed is an online travel agency at bookthebed.com. You can search and book hotels, flights, and flight-plus-hotel bundles in one place — over two million properties across 190 countries, with instant confirmation on most rooms and free-cancellation options on many rates.
Is my hotel booking confirmed straight away?
Most rooms are confirmed instantly: you get a confirmation number and an email as soon as payment succeeds. A small number of rates are confirmed on request, and we tell you that on the rate before you book rather than afterwards.
Can I cancel for free?
It depends on the rate you choose, not on us. Free-cancellation rates can be cancelled at no charge up to the deadline shown on the rate — a specific date and time. Non-refundable rates are cheaper and cannot be refunded. Both are labelled before you pay.
How do flight cancellations work?
Flights follow the operating airline's fare rules. Most low economy fares are non-refundable, and where a change is allowed the airline usually charges a penalty and returns the remaining value as credit. Cancellations are submitted to the airline as a request on your behalf, and any refund is issued by the airline to your original payment method.
What currency will I be charged in?
Prices are shown in the currency we detect from your location, and you can change it at any time from the currency selector. The currency shown on the rate at checkout is the currency you are charged in.
Does Book The Bed own the hotels?
No. Book The Bed acts as an agent: we book rooms and tickets on your behalf with independent hotels, airlines and their distributors. The supplier's rate rules and fare rules govern your booking, and we show those terms before you pay and again on your confirmation.
Can I book a flight and a hotel together?
Yes. The Flight + Hotel page searches both and books them for the same trip, so your stay matches your arrival and departure dates.
